Prior to becoming a Broker in 2007, Michael initially entered the bank lending and finance industry in 1986 and after a number of years managing loan production branch offices an opportunity arose to move into the mortgage banking industry first as a Mortgage Loan Underwriter and then as a Credit Manager. Over the course of 22 years, he gained valuable experience in the areas of Loan Production and Collections Management, Foreclosure Procedures, Loss Mitigation, Mortgage Underwriting, Credit Management, Income Analysis, Purchase Contract and Escrow instruction analysis and Residential Real Estate Appraisal collateral analysis while working for both major Banks and Mortgage Banking loan origination institutions.

In June of 2007, Michael established Expert Home Loan and Real Estate Services Inc. as a licensed full service Real Estate Brokerage, assisting clients to sell, purchase and finance Southern California real estate sharing his passion and desire to help others achieve financial freedom and security through Real Estate.

In early 2013, Michael was approached by and invited to consider partnering with Mark 1 Real Estate, a full service boutique brokerage, as a Broker Associate/Real Estate Wealth Advisor. Upon discovering a common philosophy of educating home buyers and home owners about how to build wealth and long term inflation proof retirement income by applying the 5 Economic Benefits of Real Estate via a Consumer Educational program called the Mark 1 Wealth Academy, it made sense to provide clients access to the life changing concepts being shared via the Mark 1 Wealth Academy. In 2024, new laws affecting the Real Estate Industry changed how real estate agents commissions are negotiated and created a lot of confusion. Add to that, the rapid increase in SoCal home prices, causing Michael to re-evaluate the Traditional Real Estate Agent sales commission model and the high amount of the commission fees paid by Seller's to agents. This evaluation resulted in the creation a new, straight forward, affordable, Full Service "Broker Direct" reduced commission fee model, that will save both Home Seller's and Home Buyer's Thousands of Dollars in commission compared to the Traditional Agent/Broker commission models.
